此时此刻，最为牵动国人心的人群，是海外华侨，尤其是那些小小年纪出国留学的孩子们，他们现在安全吗？如果留在美国，留在学校，他们能否顺利度过疫情？听说已经有一些学校关闭宿舍，正在驱逐国际学生回自己的国家，情况是否属实？
疫情期间，寄宿学校的国际学生是否可以留在美国呢？带着这个问题，丁丁留学团队和相关合作伙伴向几百所美国寄宿学校做出调查，我们得到了一些温暖人心反馈。以下向读者展示部分，我们可以总结出一个规律，大部分寄宿学校，通常位于人口稀疏的小镇或者乡村，他们都可以在校内进行自我隔离，安全指数较高。
ME-Foxcroft Academy 我们鼓励国际学生继续留在校园宿舍，我们这个社区很小，容易监测，目前我们所在的地区没有病例。
We will restrict the interactions between our boarding students and anyone not part of our immediate school staff. Boarding students are restricted to campus.Day students are restricted from school campus. Nursing staff will monitor the health of our students and we will remain in communication with the Center for Disease Control and our Mayo Regional Hospital.
We will also work with the State of Maine Department of Education. Additional cleaning protocols are in place both in dorms and school buildings. Social distancing is in practice. Also important is to realize that our community is small and has only around 3500 people total. This makes it easier to track any concerns. Foxcroft Academy feels that once students are enrolled in our school they become part of our family. Many of our dorm parents have their own families who live on campus. We make decisions with a feeling of full responsibility for the safety of our students. We fully value the education that we are asked to provide but we are also very concerned about the health of all of our children.

We have numerous hand sanitizer stations set up, and we have an adequate supply of personal protective equipment available as needed. The residence hall was built to accommodate 600 students. With 70 students and staff members staying on campus, we are able to separate students between our four two-story wings. Our community has access to three local hospitals & a reputable medical college that are part of some of the finest health care networks in the country. Between access to quality healthcare and the measures we've taken to protect our student residents, we believe the best and safest option for the students is to remain here with us in our safe environment while working on coursework online.

Saint Stanislaus is located in a small coastal town. Our campus is large and we are naturally distanced from others in the community. We are constantly monitoring the situation and taking our guidance from the CDC and local health organizations. We do not recommend travel outside of Bay St. Louis; whether in the US or Internationally. We are monitoring and following guidelines for schools established by the Minnesota Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. - We are providing a space with 24 hour coverage of staff, multiple daily check-ins, and quick access to medical facilities in our area. - Our residence facility, Saint Michael Hall (SMH) has been closed to visitors. - SMH is regularly cleaned by a professional cleaning company that works in over 60 hospitals. They have upgraded their disinfectant and spend extra time cleaning all "touch-points" in both villages and bathrooms. - Providing hand-sanitizing stations located throughout the building and disinfecting wipes in common areas. - We are encouraging students, faculty, and staff to wash their hands frequently. - Residential students with respiratory symptoms and high temperatures will be triaged in a separate area. Any testing for COVID-19 will be coordinated with local health officials. We currently do NOT have any residential students showing symptoms associated with the virus. - We are offering virtual mental and emotional appointments with our counseling staff for those feeling anxious about the situation. - CentraCare is our local health system, and we will provide transportation should our students need to use their facilities.The care for our students (and incoming students) and the Prep Community is our top priority. We will work with and support each family to the best of our abilities.

Limited travel (students not permitted to travel outside of Fresno) and no visitors in dormitory. With the health crisis currently happening around the world it's recommended by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and U.S. Department of State - Bureau of Consular Affairs any travel plans be postponed and in fact some countries have put travel restrictions not allowing anyone to enter the country.

Boarding and day students who are currently off campus for the March break will not be permitted to return to campus until no earlier than April 13, 2020. Due to the rapidly evolving situation surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Trinity-Pawling is monitoring the situation closely and is taking all recommended precautions to ensure the safety of our students and community. Our facilities team will be cleaning the dorm multiple times a day with emphasis being places on common areas, common touch points (door knobs, counter tops, etc...) All student activities, sports, and gatherings larger that 50 people have been cancelled. Within the dorm, students are to practice social distancing as much as possible (keeping 6 feet of distance between each other.) In the event a student becomes ill, we have quarantine areas for those students. We are in continuous contract with local, state, and national health officials for guidance on best practices moving forward. Our top priority is the health and safety of our students. In the event the dorm is not safe, we would find alternative options for our students. The insurance policy that we purchase for our students will cover COVID-19 cases. we are moving to an e-learning environment for all students. Campus is closed to all but essential personnel, dorm students, and faculty families with on campus housing. Social distancing, deep cleaning, campus restrictions, and travel quarantines are all designed to keep students healthy and safe. Our rural location is also a protective factor. We will provide remote instruction for all classes. We have assessed each student's technology needs to make sure they have everything they need to participate in remote instruction. Lessons will also be recorded to accommodate different time zones. The health, safety, and well-being our international students has been at the center of every decision theAcademy has made. The campus is closed to any outside visitors. The students are not allowed to visit large group settings. Our student insurance policy covers any health-related issues.The natural setting of our campus in the mountains mitigates much of our risk of exposure. Our decision to close the campus and offer online courses now before there is a risk of exposure adds an additional layer of safety for our students. TFS will always put our student's/family's safety and well-being first.

Only students who have nowhere else to go after spring break are allowed on campus. Currently we only have 12 students on campus. Not allowing others onto campus, including most non-teaching administrators. Prior to the return of the 12 boarders, the dorms were deep cleaned/disinfected.

Students will be taking their classes online until April 6th. If the virus is not under control by that time, the students will continue to take their classes online until further notice. We are currently on Spring Break. Resident students were discouraged from going home, if their country has confirmed cases. If they do go home, they will be quarantined for fourteen days when they return. Our leadership team has done everything possible to ensure the safety of our students, and to keep parents informed on decisions related to their students, the school, and how we will support our students through online classes when necessary.
